Body Found in Singer D4vd's Tesla Identified as Missing Teen

Authorities have identified the body discovered in a Tesla registered to singer D4vd as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who had been missing since April 2024. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office confirmed Rivas's identity, noting that the cause of death is currently deferred pending further investigation.

The investigation began on September 8, 2025, when employees at a Hollywood tow yard reported a foul odor emanating from the vehicle. Upon inspection, police found Rivas's body wrapped in a bag inside the car's front trunk. The Tesla, which had been abandoned in the Hollywood Hills for several days before being towed, is registered to 20-year-old singer David Anthony Burke, known professionally as D4vd.

Rivas was last seen in April 2024 in Lake Elsinore, California. Her mother reported that at the time of her disappearance, Rivas was dating someone named "David." Notably, both Rivas and Burke have a tattoo on their right index finger that reads "Shhh..."

Burke, who gained popularity through TikTok and is currently on a world tour, is cooperating with authorities in the ongoing investigation.
