Singer d4vd Cancels Tour Dates Amid Investigation into Teen's Death
Singer d4vd has canceled upcoming tour dates following the discovery of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas's body in a Tesla registered to him. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
Singer d4vd has canceled the remaining dates of his U.S. tour, including a scheduled performance at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, as authorities investigate the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas. Rivas's decomposed body was discovered on September 8 in the front trunk of a Tesla registered to d4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke. The vehicle had been impounded after being reported abandoned in the Hollywood Hills.
Rivas, from Lake Elsinore, was reported missing in April 2024. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office identified her remains on September 17, noting that the cause of death is still under investigation.
A representative for d4vd stated that the singer is cooperating with authorities. The Los Angeles Police Department has not classified the case as a homicide, pending further forensic results.
In addition to the Los Angeles show, d4vd's San Francisco concert was also canceled. The status of his upcoming European tour dates remains uncertain.
D4vd, known for his viral TikTok hit "Romantic Homicide," released his debut album "Withered" in April and began touring in August.
