Body Found in Singer D4vd's Tesla Identified as Missing Teen

Authorities have identified the decomposed body discovered in a Tesla registered to singer D4vd as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who was reported missing from Lake Elsinore, California, in April 2024.

The vehicle was towed to a Hollywood impound lot after being abandoned in the Hollywood Hills for several days. On September 8, employees at the lot detected a foul odor emanating from the car and alerted the Los Angeles Police Department. Upon inspection, officers found Rivas' remains in the front trunk, wrapped in a bag.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office identified the body through forensic analysis. Rivas was last seen on April 5, 2024, and had been missing for over a year. The cause of death is currently listed as deferred, pending further investigation.

D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, is cooperating with authorities. His representatives have not responded to requests for comment.

The Los Angeles Police Department's Robbery-Homicide Division is leading the investigation. No arrests have been made, and the case remains under active investigation.
