Authorities have identified the decomposed body discovered in a Tesla registered to singer D4vd as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who had been missing since April 2024. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the identification, noting that the cause and time of death remain undetermined.

On September 8, police responded to reports of a foul odor emanating from an impounded Tesla at a Hollywood tow yard. Upon inspection, officers found Rivas's remains inside a bag in the vehicle's front trunk. The Tesla had been towed from the Hollywood Hills after being reported abandoned; neighbors indicated it had been parked there for over a month.

Rivas, from Lake Elsinore, California, was last seen on April 5, 2024, when she was 13 years old. A missing person flyer from that time described her as 5 feet 2 inches tall, with wavy black hair, and noted a distinctive tattoo on her right index finger reading "Shhh..."

The Tesla is registered to 20-year-old singer D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke. Burke, known for his viral hits "Here With Me" and "Romantic Homicide," was on tour when the remains were discovered. His representative stated that he is fully cooperating with authorities in their investigation.

The Los Angeles Police Department is treating the case as a death investigation. As of now, no suspects have been named, and the cause of death is listed as "deferred" pending further examination.
