Actor Chad Lowe announced that his 13-year-old daughter Fiona has died, adding a family statement requesting privacy and offering a mental-health resource.
Actor Chad Lowe said his 13-year-old daughter Fiona has passed away. The family released a statement expressing grief and asking for prayers and privacy, and it included a reminder to contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for mental-health support.
Lowe and his wife, producer Kim Painter, are also parents to daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10. The actor previously posted tributes to Fiona on Instagram, celebrating her birthday in November 2025 and sharing family photos after a fire destroyed their Los Angeles home earlier that year.
Lowe, who has spoken publicly about parenting three daughters on a podcast and in past interviews, and Painter have been married since 2010. He is the younger brother of actor Rob Lowe and was formerly married to Hilary Swank.
