Chad Lowe and family attend nephew's wedding in Santa Barbara
Actor Chad Lowe, his wife Kim Painter and their daughters appeared publicly for the first time since the death of their daughter Fiona at nephew Matthew Lowe's wedding.
Actor Chad Lowe, 58, and his wife Kim Painter attended the wedding of their nephew Matthew Lowe and Emily Markus in Santa Barbara, California, on Saturday. The family sat together, with Lowe seated beside his eldest daughter Mabel, 17, and youngest daughter Nixie, 10. Painter wore a black dress, while Lowe was dressed in a blue suit and tie. Their brother Rob Lowe, 62, and his family were seated a few rows ahead. Other celebrities at the ceremony included Chris Pratt, who sat opposite Lowe, as well as Cameron Diaz, Adam Levine, Katy Perry, Zoe Saldaña and Maria Shriver. The wedding was officiated by Gwyneth Paltrow. The appearance marks the family's first public outing since the death of their middle daughter Fiona, 13, who died by suicide on Sept. 29. A family statement expressed grief and requested privacy, and Mabel posted a tribute to her sister on Instagram.
