Family and friends share tributes to Chad Lowe's late daughter Fiona
Chad Lowe's family posted tributes from a dance teacher and a youth group after the 13-year-old's death by suicide, while relatives and friends also expressed condolences on social media.
Chad Lowe and his wife, Kim Painter, have posted tributes to their 13-year-old daughter Fiona, who died by suicide, through family members and friends on social media. Fiona’s older sister, Mabel, reposted messages from Fiona’s former dance teacher and a youth camp she attended, highlighting videos of Fiona rehearsing after a house fire and expressing the teacher’s admiration for her dedication.
"This first video was taken only a month after you lost your home in the fire," the teacher wrote, adding that Fiona entered the studio with a bright smile and a warm hug.
"Your passion and determination were incredibly beautiful to witness," she continued, describing a later rehearsal.
The youth group, Widget Works, shared photos and videos of Fiona at the beach, noting her playful personality and thanking her for her contributions to the group.
"Thank you for all the beautiful years we were able to frolic, dance, laugh and love each other," the group caption read.
Fiona’s mother responded with a brief comment of affection. The family’s earlier statement to the press described Fiona as a loving, smart, and creative girl who enjoyed dancing, and it included the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
The following day, Chad’s father, Charles "Chuck" Lowe, posted a photo of Fiona swimming and wrote a brief tribute. Former co-star David Boreanaz also posted condolences, wishing Fiona peace and expressing sympathy for the family, to which Painter replied with gratitude.
The tributes reflect the family’s effort to honor Fiona’s memory while raising awareness of mental-health resources.
