Actor Chad Lowe posts on Instagram for first time since daughter's death
Chad Lowe shared an Instagram Story featuring a spiritual podcast clip, marking his first social-media activity since his 13-year-old daughter Fiona died by suicide.
Actor Chad Lowe posted to Instagram Stories on Thursday, sharing a segment from Olivia Hunt’s “On Healing” podcast that included guest Gerry Hussey speaking about energy, faith and what he described as a “divine frequency.”
“We are all part of the frequency… Through consciousness and awareness when we awaken the peaceful observer… we just let go and we release all that and we connect to a feeling, that is the divine frequency,” Hussey said in the clip.
The posting comes after the family’s private mourning of Fiona, who died by suicide last month. Sources said several families from Fiona’s school offered assistance, including meal trains and GoFundMe campaigns, but the Lowe family declined the offers, keeping support within a small circle.
Lowe’s older daughter Mabel, 17, posted tributes to Fiona on her own Instagram, sharing messages from Fiona’s former dance teacher and youth-club leaders, as well as a personal note expressing love and remembrance.
The actor, known for his Emmy-winning role on “Life Goes On” and later work on “Pretty Little Liars,” previously discussed fatherhood on a December 2025 podcast, describing it as a privilege. His recent Instagram activity signals a tentative re-engagement with the public after the family’s recent tragedy.
