Chad Lowe's daughter Mabel honors sister Fiona after her death
Mabel Lowe posted a tribute to her 13-year-old sister Fiona on Instagram, while the family announced Fiona died by suicide and asked for privacy and prayers.
Mabel Lowe, 17, posted an Instagram tribute to her younger sister Fiona, who died at age 13. She expressed love for Fiona and said she would keep her memory alive, sharing childhood photos and a final picture of Fiona dancing.
The Lowe family released a statement saying they were "deeply heartbroken" by Fiona’s loss, describing her as a loving, smart and creative girl who loved to dance. The family asked for prayers and privacy, and included a reminder to contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for mental-health support.
Chad Lowe’s father, Charles "Chuck" Lowe, also posted a photo of Fiona swimming with the caption, "Rest in peace, sweet Fiona." Fiona’s dance teacher, Kendra Andrews, shared a rehearsal video and noted the family would not be the same without her.
According to Los Angeles Medical Examiner records, Fiona’s death was ruled a suicide. The family, which includes actor Rob Lowe, has kept a low profile since the announcement.
