Actor Chad Lowe and producer Kim Painter confirmed that their 13-year-old daughter, Fiona Lowe, has died, according to a family statement posted on social media on Wednesday. The family described Fiona as a loving, smart, and creative child who enjoyed dancing and was close to her sisters. They requested prayers and privacy, and included a reminder to contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for mental-health support. No cause of death was disclosed. Fiona, born on Nov. 16, 2012, was the middle child of the three sisters. Lowe's father, Chuck Lowe, also posted a brief tribute on Instagram.
"Rest in peace sweet Fiona," the grandfather wrote.
Chad Lowe, known for roles on "Life Goes On" and "ER," had recently shared a birthday post celebrating Fiona turning 13, noting her love of dance.
