Bomb threats force diversions of flights and cruise ship across Europe
The latest bomb threats forced the diversion of at least seven flights and a cruise ship, prompting temporary airport closures, but no explosives were found. Earlier in the week, similar threats had led airlines across Europe—including LOT, Scandinavian Airlines, Wizz Air and Ryanair—to divert aircraft, conduct emergency landings and security sweeps, with authorities inspecting and searching passengers, also finding no bombs.
