Crash of two helicopters near Everest base camp leaves one dead, two hurt
On 3 November, Nepalese authorities confirmed that a mid-air collision between a Fishtail Air and an Air Dynasty helicopter near the Pheriche helipad in the Solukhumbu district resulted in the death of an Indian passenger and injuries to two other occupants. Earlier reports on 1 November said the same collision had killed the Indian passenger and initially reported three injured, including both pilots. Subsequent updates reduced the injury count to two, and the incident was described as occurring while the aircraft were attempting to land at the high-altitude heliport.
