Las últimas amenazas de bomba obligaron a desviar al menos siete vuelos y un crucero, lo que provocó el cierre temporal de varios aeropuertos, aunque no se hallaron explosivos. Días antes, amenazas similares habían obligado a aerolíneas europeas, entre ellas LOT, Scandinavian Airlines, Wizz Air y Ryanair, a desviar aviones, realizar aterrizajes de emergencia y efectuar inspecciones de seguridad, con autoridades revisando y registrando a los pasajeros, también sin encontrar artefactos explosivos.
