Zelensky urges Trump to supply interceptor missiles as US ties strain
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told Italy's Corriere della Sera that President Donald Trump should supply interceptor missiles already purchased by European allies, saying the United States must step in as Russian attacks persisted. Earlier, Kyiv reported that overnight speed limits imposed on SpaceX's military-grade Starshield satellite service disrupted drone operations and communications, a restriction Ukrainian officials said was set by the U. S. military. The White House denied ordering the limits, and President Trump later asserted he had not curtailed the service. A bipartisan group of U. S.
senators asked the defence department inspector general to probe the restrictions. Zelenskyy also criticised Trump’s proposed diesel deal with Russia, rejected a U. S. -backed energy cease-fire and met U. S. special envoys in Oslo as tensions over American aid grew.
