Meghan and Harry begin search for English countryside home
The Mercury News reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle began searching for a countryside home near the Cotswolds after arriving back in the United Kingdom, where they intend to stay for an extended period. They had flown to Britain on a private jet, landing at Birmingham International Airport and moving into a non-royal residence outside London, according to CNN. The Sussexes retained their homes in Montecito, California, and a vacation property in Portugal, and said they would remain non-working members of the royal family.
Security for the couple is to be arranged privately, as noted by the UK prime minister, and Prince Harry has asked the Home Office about state-funded protection. Earlier, Meghan expressed concerns about paparazzi exposure for her children’s schooling, and reports indicated she was being offered an acting role in the UK.
