Nintendo eyes Zelda remake to lift Switch 2 holiday sales
Nintendo said it expects its upcoming remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to drive Switch 2 sales during the holiday season. Amazon and Walmart are offering a $10 discount on preorders that remain available until November 5, 2026, according to The Verge.
Famitsu gave the remake a 37-out-of-40 rating, praising its camera, controls and graphics, as reported by Video Games Chronicle. CBC noted that Nintendo is slated to launch a fully rebuilt version for Switch 2, featuring updated graphics, controls and sound while preserving the original storyline.
