Netflix Releases 'The One About Matthew Perry' Docuseries Featuring Sister's Reflections
Mia Perry Bowick spoke about her brother Matthew Perry’s personality and recalled memories of the ‘Friends’ cast while promoting Netflix’s three-part docuseries ‘The One About Matthew Perry’ in Los Angeles. Netflix released the series earlier this year, exploring the actor’s career, personal struggles and the circumstances of his death, with interviews from family and friends but no participation from his former co-stars. The documentary also recounts Perry’s serious health issues and sobriety challenges before the 2021 reunion special, and details his battles with addiction, his time in rehab during the production of ‘Friends’, and the attendance of the cast at his 2023 funeral.
