Justice Department submits plan to close East Potomac Golf Links by mid-November
The Justice Department filed a plan to close the historic East Potomac Golf Links in Washington, D. C. , by mid-November after President Donald J. Trump announced a redesign of the course.
Earlier, U. S. District Judge Ana Reyes extended a preliminary injunction that halted tree removal at the East Potomac Golf Course and required the administration to provide advance notice before making any irreversible changes. The judge also warned the Trump administration to clarify its closure plans following a conflicting statement on Truth Social.
