Kent M2 crash and Yorkshire M62 lane closures cause delays
Manchester Evening News reported that two eastbound lanes of the M62 between junctions 18 and 19 were closed after a traffic collision, causing delays of up to half an hour before the road reopened around midday on 27 October. Earlier on the same day, a four-vehicle crash on the M2 near Junction 4 close to Gillingham led to a temporary closure that was lifted by mid-afternoon after emergency services treated two injured occupants, Kent Online said. Kent Police and National Highways later said a serious collision near Medway Services forced a full closure of the M2 between junctions 4 and 5, with diversions in place and delays expected throughout the morning, according to Metro.
