Apple delays HomeView launch to November 2026 over Siri AI integration
Apple said the HomeView smart-home hub will not be released until November 2026 because the company wants its upgraded Siri artificial-intelligence to be fully ready. The delay was announced in a statement from Apple. Apple introduced the HomeView hub, a $299 smart display offered in wall-mountable and speaker-base versions, according to MacRumors. The launch, which also featured refreshed HomePod and Apple TV 4K models and accessories from LG and Schneider Electric, was reported by The Guardian.
Apple also unveiled a HomeKit thermostat co-developed with Schneider Electric, as detailed by Electrek. Reviewers noted the display’s small 7-inch screen and limited third-party app support, CNET said. The broader Home Collection, emphasizing one-tap setup, privacy and Matter compatibility, was highlighted by The Verge.
