Apple launches iPhone 18 Pro Max as focus shifts to upcoming iPhone Duo
Apple published the iPhone 18 Pro Max with modest hardware upgrades, but said consumer interest was shifting toward the forthcoming iPhone Duo, according to Tom's Guide, in Cupertino, California. Earlier, 9to5Mac highlighted a range of accessories recommended for the upcoming iPhone Duo, including an Apple Pencil and a MagSafe car mount. The outlet also reported that Apple announced the Duo’s inner display layer could be replaced for $49, a move intended to ease the device’s $1,999-$3,199 price range.
MacRumors noted that the iPhone Duo launched with a 7. 6-inch foldable inner display at $1,999, omitting several camera and hardware features, and that Apple disclosed out-of-pocket repair fees for the device, with the highest charge for other damage reaching $1,499.
