Rockstar releases GTA VI trailer, confirms November 19 launch and pricing
Rockstar Games unveiled the official launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI in Tokyo, confirming a November 19, 2026 console release and announcing pricing for standard and Ultimate editions. Co-studio lead Rob Nelson told Famitsu the game would launch on November 19, reaffirming the studio’s confidence.
Bloomberg reported that GTA VI is the most expensive game ever made, with an eight-year development cycle delayed by Red Dead Redemption 2 and a shift toward realism using advanced AI-driven NPCs. GamesBeat said the PC version is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027, a few months after the console debut.
