Four Adults Charged After Rescue of 16 Children in Ohio Home
Ohio authorities rescued 16 children from a dilapidated home in Hamden and charged four adults with felony child endangerment, AP reported. The house was described as cramped and unsanitary, with evidence of years of neglect. Emergency responders found the children crowded in a single room and provided immediate medical attention.
The four adults, identified as Ryan Cain, Andy Wilson and two other family members, were taken into custody, WLWT said. All of the children were placed in temporary custody pending further investigation. The charges include multiple counts of felony child endangerment, reflecting the severity of the neglect.
