Google Pixel 9a: Affordable Smartphone with Enhanced Features
The Google Pixel 9a offers a balance of performance and affordability, featuring the Tensor G4 chip, AI tools, and a 48-megapixel camera.
Google's Pixel 9a, released on April 10, 2025, is the latest addition to the company's mid-range smartphone lineup, priced at $499. The device is powered by the Tensor G4 chip and includes AI-driven features such as the Gemini assistant. It boasts a 48-megapixel main camera and a 5,100mAh battery, the largest in any Pixel phone to date. The Pixel 9a is also the first in the A-series to achieve an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. However, some compromises include the absence of a telephoto lens and slower charging speeds. The phone is available in four colors: Iris, Peony, Porcelain, and Obsidian.
