PK Kemsley Seeks Sole Control of $8 Million Beverly Hills Home Amid Divorce Dispute
In new court filings, PK Kemsley alleges Dorit Kemsley has left their Los Angeles estate vacant while traveling abroad, prompting him to request exclusive authority over its sale to avoid foreclosure.
PK Kemsley filed additional legal documents in the ongoing divorce case with his estranged wife, Dorit Kemsley, asking a judge to grant him sole control over the sale of their six-bedroom, ten-bathroom Los Angeles-area residence, valued at roughly $8 million. He says he moved out after the separation but continued to pay household expenses, while Dorit has not contributed to mortgage payments.
"The property is on the brink of foreclosure, and I have had to inject $300,000 of my own money to cover arrears," PK wrote in the filing, adding that Dorit had previously agreed to reimburse him from any proceeds of a sale.
PK contends that Dorit is currently on an extended trip to Europe, leaving their two children with her parents, and that her absence is hindering efforts to address the financial situation. He claims she has spent over $1 million on travel and clothing, further straining the family’s finances.
The filing warns that the lender could schedule a foreclosure auction within weeks unless the home is listed for sale promptly. PK argues that granting him exclusive authority would protect the property from being lost.
The couple’s divorce proceedings remain unresolved, and the court has yet to rule on the request for sole control of the estate.
