Dorit Kemsley and ex-husband Paul Kemsley trade accusations over family finances amid divorce
Paul Kemsley emailed Dorit Kemsley alleging unsustainable expenses and limited access to their children; Dorit denied the claims, stating she handles child care and that the couple’s finances are sufficient for support obligations.
Paul Kemsley sent an email to his estranged wife Dorit Kemsley two months after their separation, warning that their current expenses were unsustainable and could harm their family if not addressed. In the message he said he had previously tried to discuss the “precarious financial situation” and complained about being denied meaningful time with their children while Dorit was filming.
"It is simply unacceptable that I am being deprived of spending meaningful time with our children," Kemsley wrote, adding that he had asked for an open dialogue to protect the family’s future.
Kemsley also claimed Dorit was ignoring financial responsibilities and attempting to shift costs onto him, suggesting she could use her own income or credit while he continued to pay bills.
Dorit Kemsley responded that she has been caring for the children most of the time, that Paul has sufficient resources to meet child and spousal support obligations, and that most of the clothing purchases she made for the Bravo show have been returned. She rejected the allegation that she has spent nearly $1 million on luxury apparel.
The couple’s divorce, which has been highly publicized, continues to feature mutual accusations regarding finances and parenting arrangements.
