Prince Harry and Meghan to Stay at Royal Residence During July UK Visit

Summary

Prince Harry and Meghan have accepted King Charles III's invitation to stay at a royal residence for their first joint trip to the United Kingdom in four years, scheduled for July 7-11.

Prince Harry and Meghan will spend part of their upcoming July 7-11 visit to the United Kingdom at a royal residence, a representative confirmed in a news release. The couple, who have not visited the UK together since September 2022, will also use private accommodation during the trip, though the specific locations have not been disclosed.

The Sussexes are traveling with their two children, Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, but do not plan any public engagements. A spokesperson for the couple declined to comment on whether they will meet King Charles III or other members of the royal family, and Buckingham Palace has not responded to requests for comment.

Security arrangements remain uncertain. In May 2025, Harry lost a UK court appeal concerning the level of protection his family is entitled to while in Britain. Representatives for the Sussexes noted that a risk management board review, required by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures, has not been conducted despite six months' notice.

Harry and Meghan stepped back from senior royal duties in 2020 and relocated to California, where they have since pursued business ventures, including the media company Archewell Productions and the duchess's lifestyle brand As Ever.
