FBI Releases Images of Person of Interest in Charlie Kirk Shooting

The FBI has released images of a person of interest in the fatal shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. The individual is described as college-aged and was captured in grainy photos wearing a hat, sunglasses, and jeans. A $100,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.

Kirk, 31, was shot in the neck during a public event at the university in Orem, Utah, on September 10, 2025. He was addressing a large crowd when a single gunshot rang out, causing him to collapse as attendees fled. The attack, believed to have been carried out from a rooftop vantage point, involved a high-powered bolt-action rifle, which was later recovered near the scene.

The incident has sparked national outrage and condemnation across the political spectrum. President Trump called it a "heinous assassination" and announced a posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom for Kirk. Utah Governor Spencer Cox stated that those responsible will be held fully accountable.

Authorities are urging the public to share any video or images that may assist in identifying the suspect. The investigation is ongoing, with law enforcement officials analyzing evidence and tracking the suspect's movements.
