Toronto police investigate ex-boyfriend in fatal North York stabbing
Toronto police said on 6 November that they are investigating Reydel Del Rosario, the ex-boyfriend of 47-year-old Gregoria Alilio, for involvement in the fatal stabbing that occurred on 29 October in North York. The woman was found with multiple stab wounds near the Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue West intersection, and she later died despite paramedics' efforts.
Police identified the victim as Alilio and confirmed that the other person wounded at the scene died by suicide. Investigators treated the case as intimate-partner violence, noting that Del Rosario had previously been charged with assault and threats.
