Haryana Commission launches inquiry into Panchkula school assault on six-year-old
The Haryana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights opened a suo motu inquiry on Oct 31 into the assault of a six-year-old girl at Sanskriti Model School in Panchkula, after police said an eight-year-old boy had attacked her with stones and a flowerpot, leaving her critically injured. Police had earlier filed a case against the school’s management, citing negligence and security lapses.
