Trump reinstates Kansas, Iowa rallies for Nov. 1
President Donald Trump announced on Oct. 31 that he would hold in-person rallies for Senate candidates in Kansas and Iowa on Nov. 1, reversing his earlier decision to cancel the events, USA Today reported.
Earlier in the week, Trump had cancelled the planned Kansas and Iowa rallies, opting for virtual “tele-rallies” and phone appearances, a move reported by several outlets including KMBC, The Independent, Reuters and Al Jazeera. The cancellations were made without explanation, and Vice President JD Vance also scrapped scheduled appearances in three states, CNBC noted.
