Three masked intruders wound Toronto real-estate CEO and family
Toronto Police Service said three masked intruders entered the Bridle Path residence of MAC Group chief David Morton on 28 October, shooting the executive and his two adult daughters and striking his wife with a hammer, leaving two victims with serious injuries. Earlier reports described the same early-morning home invasion, confirming that the father, his daughters and his wife were shot or assaulted and that three suspects remained at large. Police launched a citywide manhunt and, as of 31 October, the injured family members remained hospitalized while authorities continued their investigation.
