Driver charged with nine offences after fatal Tampines hit-and-run
On 31 October, a 30-year-old driver was charged with nine offences, including dangerous driving causing death, for a hit-and-run in Tampines that killed a 24-year-old motorcyclist and his pregnant wife on 27 October. Police said that earlier in the week a 43-year-old driver who evaded a checkpoint in Marina Bay was charged with six offences after his vehicle struck a patrol car and another vehicle. They also reported that the driver of a deregistered Audi and his passenger were arrested after fleeing the Tampines crash and will face additional charges.
