Judge Seals Michael Jackson Estate Documents Amid $600 Million Claim
A Los Angeles judge granted estate executor John Branca's request to seal portions of the Michael Jackson estate's financial filings, a development in the litigation over Paris Jackson's bid for a $600 million distribution to a family trust. The dispute began on 29 October when Paris Jackson filed a motion asking the court to reduce Branca's compensation request of more than $109 million, citing incomplete accountings. She also asked the judge to order $600 million from the estate to be placed in a trust for herself and her brothers, a claim the estate has contested.
