Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Owner Seeks TRO Against My Chemical Romance
Pro Silver Star, the company that owns the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders brand, filed a motion for a temporary restraining order in Dallas County on 24 October, seeking to block My Chemical Romance from wearing costumes that resemble the cheerleaders’ uniforms during the band’s recent Hollywood Bowl concert in Los Angeles. The filing follows a lawsuit the trademark holder launched on 23 October, alleging that the rock group used the iconic uniform without permission, with performers dressed as armed dancers on stage. Earlier reports described the same request for an injunction, underscoring the brand’s effort to protect its image.
