Variety reported that Quentin Tarantino premiered the opening segment of "The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth" at the AFI Fest, revealing plot details and confirming a limited IMAX debut on Nov.  25 and a Netflix streaming release on Dec.  23.

Earlier, Deadline posted new stills from the film and announced the same IMAX and Netflix dates, while The Hollywood Reporter noted that director David Fincher trimmed 60 pages from Tarantino's script to achieve a 2-hour-20-minute runtime. Empire had earlier highlighted a joint discussion between Tarantino and Fincher about the sequel's tone and production.
