Republican lawmaker denounces Ramaswamy Ohio ad as offensive
According to The Guardian, Representative Nancy Mace condemned a television ad released by Vivek Ramaswamy's campaign in Ohio as "shameful" and "disgusting," while Vice President JD Vance defended the advertisement. NBC News reported that Vance urged Republican members to stop complaining about the ad and concentrate on winning the Ohio governor's race.
CNN added that the two gubernatorial campaigns exchanged accusations of defamatory tactics over the personal ads. The controversial spot, which featured the estranged mother of Democratic candidate Amy Acton, had earlier drawn criticism from several politicians and analysts; the Acton campaign denounced it, and the Ramaswamy campaign responded with its own accusations.
