Apple launches M6-powered iMac and 14-inch MacBook Pro
Apple unveiled refreshed iMac and entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro models powered by the new M6 chip in Cupertino, California, according to Ars Technica. The devices ship with upgraded Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 and start at higher price points.
The 14-inch MacBook Pro launch, reported by PCMag Australia, introduced the M6 processor with a base price of $1,999. Earlier in the year, outlets such as 9to5Mac and MacRumors reported that Apple was preparing a touchscreen OLED MacBook Pro featuring Dynamic Island and possible 5G connectivity, but those models did not materialize in the final announcement.
