Apple launches M6-powered iMac and 14-inch MacBook Pro at higher prices
Apple unveiled a 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M6 chip, starting at $1,999 in Australia, according to PCMag Australia. It also introduced a refreshed iMac with the same processor and upgraded Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 connectivity, as reported by Ars Technica.
Both devices mark the first Apple products to feature the M6 processor. Earlier reports throughout the month had suggested Apple was preparing a touchscreen OLED MacBook Pro with Dynamic Island, a lighter chassis and M5 Pro/Max chips, and even possible 5G cellular support, but those models have not appeared.
