Instagram launches 90-minute horizontal video test to rival YouTube
According to PCMag, Instagram began testing up to 90-minute landscape videos with select creators in the United States, Brazil and Southeast Asia as part of its new "Features" rollout, aiming to expand long-form content on the platform. Earlier, Variety reported that Meta was trialing longer videos of up to 90 minutes and Apple TV playback but said no revenue-sharing model was planned for creators.
TechCrunch said the test allows creators to upload videos of that length, expanding long-form offerings and exploring new monetisation options. 9to5Mac added that the feature, called Features, lets creators post horizontal videos up to 90 minutes and link them from short Reels.
