Packers confirm Josh Jacobs cleared to play after reinstatement
Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich said the reinstated running back Josh Jacobs looks healthy and will add a spark to the offense when he returns in the upcoming game against the Detroit Lions. The team gave Jacobs a full week of practice but kept his game status pending after the NFL removed him from the commissioner’s exempt list allowing him to practice and be eligible to play.
The league’s personal-conduct investigation continues, pending review of video evidence that Wisconsin police have delayed releasing. Jacobs had previously pleaded guilty to battery in a domestic incident.
