Pediatric doctor killed, wife critically injured in Edgewood stabbing
On 22 September in Edgewood, Pennsylvania, Dr. Idris Evans, the pediatric critical-care director at UPMC Children’s Hospital, was fatally stabbed while his wife sustained critical injuries; police arrested 32-year-old Elijah Hemingway on homicide and assault charges.
