Utah Judge Begins Probable-Cause Hearing in Charlie Kirk Murder Case
A Utah judge began a probable-cause hearing to decide if the case against Tyler Robinson can proceed to trial for the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. The hearing was scheduled as a week-long preliminary proceeding that will examine DNA and rifle evidence, Fox News reported. Prosecutors intend to present surveillance footage, autopsy findings and witness statements, according to The New York Times.
The judge’s opening of the hearing came as the state sought the death penalty in the case.
