Israel held the funeral of Ran Gvili, the last hostage recovered from Gaza following Hamas's 2023 attack, marking the end of a prolonged national ordeal. The ceremony took place in Tel Aviv's Hostages Square, where the countdown clock that had been running for 843 days was stopped after the return of Gvili's remains.
The event involved the Hostages and Missing Families Forum and was held in the Tel Aviv District of Israel, symbolizing closure for the families and the nation.
