Jason DeFord, known as Jelly Roll, has filed for divorce from his wife Bunnie XO in Tennessee, ending a marriage that began in 2016.

Jason DeFord, who performs under the name Jelly Roll, submitted divorce papers at a Tennessee courthouse in May, ending his ten-year marriage to Bunnie XO, according to court records reported by a media outlet. The filing was described as a mutual decision and a private family matter.

The couple met in 2015 at a Las Vegas show and married in August 2016 after a brief court ceremony in Las Vegas. Bunnie has been credited with helping DeFord secure custody of his daughter Bailee and providing stability for his children, Bailee and son Noah. In 2018 the marriage experienced a brief separation following an affair by DeFord, after which the pair reconciled and emphasized the importance of open communication.

Bunnie’s memoir, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic, clarified that their early relationship was non-traditional but that they now maintain a monogamous marriage. In August 2023 the couple revisited the Las Vegas chapel where they first wed, this time with Bunnie wearing a traditional wedding dress.

No further details about the divorce proceedings have been released.
