Jelly Roll reports stable health and tour focus after divorce settlement

Summary

The Grammy-winning musician said he is concentrating on his tour and well-being following a settlement with his ex-wife, Bunnie XO, which was finalized last week.

Jelly Roll, whose legal name is Jason DeFord, said he is in a "good place" and focusing on his upcoming tour and personal health after filing for divorce from podcast host Alisa DeFord, known as Bunnie XO, on May 18 in Tennessee. A source close to the musician told People that both parties aimed to complete the divorce quickly and with mutual respect, and that DeFord’s “generous nature” guided the settlement process.

According to court filings reported by media outlets, the settlement divides assets such as vehicles, intellectual property, an aircraft and real estate, and includes a one-time lump-sum payment to Bunnie. The agreement also contains a clause prohibiting either party from publicly disparaging the other.

During a June concert in Saratoga Springs, New York, Jelly Roll addressed the audience, stating that Bunnie will remain his "best friend forever" and that she may be the only woman he will ever love in that way. He added that there was no infidelity involved in the split.

Bunnie posted on Instagram showing her new residence and discussed future family plans on her podcast, indicating she intends to have a child with the singer despite the divorce. A spokesperson for Jelly Roll did not respond to a request for comment.
