Harley-Davidson unveils Sprint 440 cruiser design in undisguised photos

Resumen

Spy shots show the Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 with cruiser styling, new tank graphics and hardware ahead of its dealer arrival.

Harley-Davidson has released undisguised images of its upcoming Sprint 440 model as the bike begins arriving at dealerships. The photographs reveal a cruiser-oriented design that differs from the X440 roadster, featuring a new fuel tank, a single-piece scooped seat, and a raised, pulled-back handlebar. Black finishes are highlighted by machined engine fins and a bright exhaust heat shield, while the tank displays prominent Harley-Davidson lettering within an orange-bordered graphic. Variants with blue, grey and red tank finishes are also visible in the shots.

The front end includes a circular headlamp with surrounding trim, separate turn indicators and a compact mudguard, and lacks a large windscreen, giving the bike a simple profile. A circular instrument console sits above the handlebar, and the switchgear and keyed ignition are shown. The chassis incorporates upside-down front forks, twin rear shock absorbers, alloy wheels with machined detailing, and disc brakes with an ABS sensor on the front wheel.

The right-side exhaust runs low along the frame and is covered by a metallic heat shield with dark detailing strips. A protective plate is visible beneath the engine, and the rear shows a wider tyre, a compact tail lamp and separate indicators. The Sprint 440 is expected to share the X440’s 440 cc single-cylinder, air-oil-cooled engine and six-speed gearbox, though specific output and tuning details have not yet been released.
