Harley-Davidson Spy Shots Reveal Sprint 440 Cruiser Design Ahead of EICMA Debut
Harley-Davidson's upcoming Sprint 440, built on the X440 T platform, was photographed in production-ready form and is slated to debut at EICMA 2026 before reaching Indian markets later this year.
Harley-Davidson has been photographed with an undisguised prototype of its upcoming Sprint 440, confirming the model’s production-ready appearance ahead of its official launch. The motorcycle shares its 440 cc single-cylinder, air- and oil-cooled engine with the X440 T, delivering 27 bhp and 38 Nm of torque through a six-speed gearbox, but adopts a distinct cruiser silhouette.
The Sprint 440 features a long, low stance, raised swept-back handlebars, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a single-piece scooped seat and a compact rear fender. Footpegs are positioned forward to create a laid-back riding posture. A circular TFT instrument cluster, similar to that on the X440 range, is centered on the handlebars, while blacked-out components and a new exhaust canister with a metallic shield add visual contrast.
Built on the X440’s chassis architecture, the model incorporates a different rear subframe to accommodate its lower seat profile and cruiser styling. Production will take place in India through Hero MotoCorp. Harley-Davidson plans to unveil the Sprint 440 globally at the EICMA trade show in Milan on 3 November 2026, with an Indian market launch expected toward the end of the year.
