Saudi Aramco office damaged in Riyadh after Houthi missile attack amid Yemen conflict
On 8 November, CNBC reported that falling debris from an attempted missile strike damaged an administrative building of Saudi Aramco in Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District, though no casualties were reported. Saudi air defenses intercepted additional projectiles launched by Yemen’s Houthi forces.
The incident followed a series of Houthi statements that they had carried out six missile and drone operations against Saudi oil facilities, Riyadh airport and a National Guard camp, as reported by Hindustan Times and India Today. Earlier, Houthi-linked media said a Saudi-led coalition air strike in al-Shariyah killed 33 people, and both Yemeni government forces and the Houthi movement had blamed each other for an air strike on the al-Hadara market in Taiz that left at least 30 civilians dead.
