Jimmy Kimmel and Seth Meyers mock Trump's ballot claim after midterms
Jimmy Kimmel and Seth Meyers mocked President Donald Trump's claim that he was not on the 2026 midterm ballot, after Democrats secured control of the House and Senate, on November 5, 2026, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Earlier in the week, Kimmel recorded a monologue after early returns showed Democrats winning both chambers and used the segment to lampoon Trump.
His show also featured a sketch with a Natalie Harp look-alike and described Trump as a lame-duck. Subsequent reports noted that Kimmel criticized Trump for blaming others for the Democratic surge and denounced him on his broadcast.
